(Winter 2024) Girls Offensive Skills Training

 
 

Small group Training

Offensive skills training is geared to focus on Stick Skills, Footwork, and Finishing. We pride ourselves on a high tempo, fast paced environment that is suitable for intermediate to advanced /club level players. During the 60 minute sessions we will go over all the little things to become a better dodger and scorer, which includes a lot of stickwork as well.

Skills Training

Wednesdays (3 weeks - 4th, 11th, 18th)

Mavericks Training Facility ( Moorestown ) - DIRECTIONS

  • 4:30-5:30pm - Youth

    • 3rd-4th Grade | 5th grade

Coaches: Sydnee Sapp, Drew Clarkson

Cost: $35 Single Sessions | $95 for all 3

 

Private / Semi-Private Sessions

Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays

Available for Youth, Middle School, and High School players

What to expect

Enhancing Individual Skills and Drills: Goalies will engage in specialized drills designed to sharpen their individual skills, focusing on aspects such as reaction time, positioning, and handling. These sessions aim to build a solid foundation, improving their overall performance in the cage.

Participating in Small-Sided Games: Through small-sided games, goalies experience game-like scenarios that emphasize decision-making and footwork. This setting not only enhances their ability to anticipate and react to shots but also improves communication with defenders, crucial for in-game success.

Engaging in Competition: The sessions includes competitive elements that put goalies' skills to the test in a pressure-filled environment. This fosters a spirit of resilience and adaptability, encouraging goalies to apply what they've learned and strive for excellence under challenging conditions.

 

Schedule & Details

Tuesdays: January 7th - Feb 25th

Location: Evesboro Downs Field – Directions

  • Setting: Outdoor field under the lights.

  • Focus: Position-specific training focused on footwork, hand-eye coordination, and game-ready scenarios.

  • Time: 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM

    • Middle School (7th-8th) | High School

      • Capped at 5 Middle School & High School Goalies.

Players will be grouped on separate nets by age and experience. The Coaches decide on groupings during the first day.

Cost:

  • Single Session: $50

  • Monthly Package: $160 for 4 sessions
